I heard some howling in the afternoon, but I didn't think it was Hershey since it sounded far away. But then I heard Mrs. Tsutsui outside calling for Hershey. He had run out the door when she opened.
I retrieve a leash and climbed the wall. Evidently the carpenters working on the house had tried to retrieve him. But maybe that's when he howled. They pointed out where he went. I showed him some food (jerky), kneeled down and he came to me.
When I brought him back, Mrs. Tsutsui wasn't too happy and said bad dog and wanted to spank him. But I said don't hit him, he doesn't know what he's doing.
I fear Gerald might give him lickings though. Maybe. Maybe not.
