Kimo goes to the vet

Kimo's poop is still runny and has pretty much degraded to multiple runny drops.

Donna decided to make an appointment with the vet.

There was an older guy assisting the vet and he just carried off Kimo to be weighed with no muzzle or anything. And no protest from Kimo though he seemed a little scared (with the tail between his legs). Turned out that was the vet's father (who's also a vet and I guess the one who started the business).

The vet found some kind of bacteria in his poop which he might have caught from exposure to birds. So he got some medicine. A bottle of Erythromycin and a bottle of Metroridazol.

Erythromycin is an antibiotic. Metronidazole is an anti-infective medication, but I think it was for his soft poop.

The vet said it might be a challenge to get him to eat the pill as it doesn't have a good taste. I told him I was giving him vienna sausage with a medicine and he replied it's really not that good for the dog. I asked what he suggested for the pill and he said there's a product called Pill Pockets. So we picked some up at Pet Discount Warehouse.

However Donna took his poop to the vet yesterday and he said the bug isn't gone and prescribed another week's dose of the medicine.
