I took Kimo and Hershey for their walk. I decided to take them up Puna. The big black furry dog was at the gate barking at us (the same one who was loose the first time we went up Puna. Didn't see the white pom and came back down. The smallish brown dog across the street was barking and a lady going out in the car asks if Kimo was a certain breed (I forget what she said) and I said he's a Japanese spitz.
Went back down and the black dog was still there. Despite the barking, Kimo didn't seem affected and went over to sniff. The dog let out a loud bark as he came close. Kimo was startled but didn't react badly. I guess that's a good sign.
